  • What gives you the greatest meaning in life?
Spending quality time with my family and friends and helping them succeed in whatever they choose to do.

What do you stand for as a person?
I stand for taking responsibility for peace in each individual relationship I am a part of. If I can pass this forward….and others choose to take responsibility too than we may just have a chance at world peace. To me it is a no-brainier… BE NICE TO PEOPLE!

When it is all over what do you what people to say about your life?
A good person, living life to its max and always willing to help others.

Can you give an example of when you triumphed over adversity?
Everyday I personally face challenges, or someone in my life does. It requires  constant attention to my, thinking, feelings and actions to get through each day. Some days are easier than others, I look forward to those days!
If I have made a difference in one person’s life then I would rest peacefully.
Specifically for me, as a professional athlete, injury provides the biggest challenge. When I played in the Athens Olympics in 2004 I was playing with a severe shoulder injury and we still managed 4th. For me this was a triumph.
